What are the requirements for becoming a chaplain?

Listed below are many of the most common eligibility requirements to become
a prison chaplain:

*Earn ecclesiastical approval from your religious group or denomination.
*Be U.S. citizen or be granted permanent resident status.
*Be at least 18 years of age but 37th before birthday 
*Possess a baccalaureate degree from an accredited seminary or theological
school.

How do you become a Federal Prison chaplain?

*Understand what the job entails.
*Be able to meet the spiritual needs of strangers.
*Be trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality.
*Consider getting a master's degree.
*Get ordained by your religious organization.

What are the benefits?

* Annual salary starts $ 78,000-85,000 but after several years later more
than $100,000
* Sunday pay, holiday pay
