The Servant Korean Evangelical Church of Atlanta is seeking a half-time or full-time EM pastor.

The Servant Korean Evangelical Church of Atlanta (SKECA) is located in Lawrenceville, GA, a community situated about 20 miles northeast of Downtown Atlanta. Lawrenceville is next to Duluth, Suwanee, and Johns Creekwhere numbers of Koreans reside. SKECA was established in 2009, and ever since it grew to a church 1,000 members attend. SKECA has created a rich, diverse fellowship among members regardless of whether they speak Korean or English. SKECA is now ready to reach the next generation and their community for the coming years by building up English ministry.

 

Qualification

A Master of Divinity Degree (M.div) or a seminary student from an accredited theological seminary

Fluent in English

 

Job descriptions

Building up English Ministry (Sunday preaching, leading bible studies, counseling, and visitations)

Helping youth group and cooperating with youth pastor

Working closely with pastoral staff and lay leadership

 

Requirements

Resume with family picture

Personal Testimony (Autobiography, Assurance of Salvation, and Vocation) and Ministerial plan – 3 pages

maximum

Two recent sermons (video, audio files or links)

a. Choose a passage between 1 Corinthians 15:51-58 and Mark 16:1-8

  (20 minutes of sermon, along with script)

b. Any recent sermon

Two letters of Recommendations – one from previous or present senior pastor and the other from layperson

Proof of education document and ordination (if ordained)
